How To Install Steel Trusses

1:First you dig the holes in the ground, next you set the 6"X 6" Posts square and level them.

2:Then you bolt together the two half's of the truss, with the provided hardware.

3: Next you will lift the trusses onto the top of the posts, once they are squared up, you bolt them to the side of the post with the lag bolts that where included with your steel trusses

4: You will add the 2" X 6" Wood purlins the full lenght of the building, into the purlin cups and fasten them to the truss thru the pre-drilled holes in the cups.

5: After all the 2x6 purlins are in place you begin to install the metal roofing straight onto the purlins that are spaced 2' on center.

Why should I use Steel Trusses?

These heavy duty steel trusses are designed to be spaced 10'- 12' apart, this converts to saving you valuable install time. Versus wood trusses that are commonly spaced at 2'- 4' apart and require you to purchase and install over twice as many. :(

Example

Steel : As an example a 50' long building will only require 6 of our easy to install steel trusses spaced at 10' apart. ツ

Versus wood trusses for a 50' long building would be 18 labor intensive wood trusses spaced at 3' apart.:(

How do Metal Trusses compare in Price to wood trusses?

Our metal truss will most likely cost more each compared to wood trusses, but you are strong enough that you only need to use half as many or less.

Conclusion:

Our Steel Truss system converts to less overall cost, less labor to install, and building made to last, that will make you.

Results Our Metal Trusses will save you both labor and money.
